Poligono Sur

« Poligono sur » (The Art of the Three Thousand) is an intense trip to the most problematic and artistic neighborhood of Seville, where the ancient gypsies of Triana merge with the new generations of artists. As in an insolate melting pot, this documentary looks for the roots of the flaming « new flamenco », between tradition, the purest and the most avant-garde musical trends. Under the pretext of a tribute to « Pepe el quemao », a massive concert is organized where characters of all styles and ages are summoned who smooth out their rough edges and talk about the problems of their neighborhood. Thus we discover how music helps to live this collective as fascinating as unknown.
