Idéale audience

George Aperghis Machinations

Four women, four voices, four manipulative facing the audience. Each seated behind a table, we see only their heads and their hands. Above each of them, a video screen. Their voices pronounce phonemes, the ancestors of human speech which consist gradually counterpoint and form for different mixtures of "languages".
This material sometimes gets organized in fragments of very speeches affected by the human fragility which influences the word: stammerings, stammerings, asthma, etc.
We concentrated thus there at the same time of agglomerates of phonemes and the diverse manners to pronounce them as the concise and imaginary short history of the birth of the languages and the affects which are bound to it.
