Verbier Festival 2015

For its 22nd edition, the Verbier Festival has once again brought together the most prestigious artists in classical music, the best performances among 28 concerts filmed over 17 days. As ever, the musical encounters gather established musicians such as Grigory Sokolov, Lisa Batiashvili, Daniil Trifonov, Denis Matsuev, Renaud Capuçon, Menahem Pressler, Joshua Bell, Avi Avital performing in recitals as in chamber music. Lots of master pieces of which JS Bach St Matthew Passion, Mahler Symphony n°2 “Ressurection” among others with Verbier Festival Orchestra conducted by Gabor Tackas-Nagy, Gianandrea Noseda,Ton Koopman, Valery Gergiev, Charles Dutois, Zubin Mehta.
