GILLES APAP - VOYAGE AU BOUT DE L’ARCHET |
 |
Alongside his classical career, remarkable violinist Gilles Apap regularly teaches Western classical music to the students of the Benares University in India. Gilles Apap takes us on a musical journey from his house in the Californian forests to the banks of the Ganges, where, accompanied by master violinists from India, he performs the best of Western classical (Bach and Mozart), traditional Irish/Central European and classical Indian repertories. The film ends with a major concert, APAP MASALA, featuring all the artists in the music room of the palace of the Maharajah of Benares. |
